How to reach us
- Help with the product: support@socialusbc.com
- Personal data, access to your data, deletion: privacy@socialusbc.com
- Legal, security reports, abuse and copyright complaints: legal@socialusbc.com
We answer within 2 business days (Monday to Friday, Central European Time). We support English and French. There is no phone support.
When you write about a failed post, include the platform, the date and time of the post, and the error message shown in your dashboard. It saves a round trip.
Before you write
Most publishing problems come from the platform side. Check these first:
- The post status in your calendar. A red status shows the message the platform returned.
- The connection status of the account in Settings, then Connected accounts. An expired connection shows a "Reconnect" button.
- Whether the media respects the platform's limits (duration, size, aspect ratio). The upload form shows the limits for each platform.
Disconnecting a social account
From Social USB-C: go to Settings, then Connected accounts, then click Disconnect next to the account. We stop publishing to it right away and delete the related tokens and data, as described at https://socialusbc.com/data-deletion.
You can also revoke our access from the platform itself:
- Google and YouTube: https://security.google.com/settings/security/permissions
- Facebook: Settings & privacy, then Settings, then Apps and websites
- Instagram: Settings, then Apps and websites (or Website permissions)
- Threads: Settings, then Account, then Apps and websites
- TikTok: Settings and privacy, then Security and permissions, then Manage app permissions
- LinkedIn: Settings, then Data privacy, then Permitted services
- X: https://x.com/settings/connected_apps
- Pinterest: Settings, then Security, then Connected apps
- Bluesky: Settings, then Privacy and security, then App passwords (or Connected apps)
- Mastodon: Preferences, then Account, then Authorized apps on your server
Revoking access on the platform does not close your Social USB-C account.
Deleting your account
Go to Settings, then Account, then Delete my account, and confirm. Your account closes at once, all platforms are disconnected, scheduled posts are cancelled, and your data is deleted as described at https://socialusbc.com/data-deletion. If you prefer, write to privacy@socialusbc.com from the email address of your account with the subject "Data deletion request".
Billing
Manage your plan, download invoices and cancel from Settings, then Billing. Payments are processed by Stripe. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period. Refund conditions are in the Terms of Service at https://socialusbc.com/terms.
Reporting a security issue
If you find a security vulnerability, write to legal@socialusbc.com with the details. Please do not publish it before we have had a reasonable time to fix it. We do not run a paid bug bounty at this time.
Known limitations
- TikTok: until our integration has passed TikTok's audit, TikTok restricts posts made through Social USB-C to private visibility. The app shows a notice while this applies.
- YouTube: uploads count against your channel's daily upload limits, and against our API quota. If the quota is exhausted, the post is retried the next day and the status says so.
- Mastodon: available features depend on the version of the server that hosts your account.
[PLACEHOLDER: add or remove limitations before launch]
